London Authorities Whitewash London Subway Bombings

The July 7, 2005, subway bombings in London won't be independently investigated. Instead, a "senior civil servant" will weave together the accounts of police and intelligence into a "definitive account". The official narrative will no doubt gloss over the fact that authorities completely failed to predict the attack.

An independent investigation would have accomplished two important things:

A second torture center run by the Interior Ministry of the new Iraq government has been found. In the first, discovered last month, 173 prisoners were found, starving and some bearing signs of torture. The site's creator wants to illustrate the "macroscopic effects of the decisions and behavior of our society".

From an entry on Korean air polution (quoting a Canadian teaching English in Korea):

Animal Slaves Cannot Vote

These English dogs are used for going in where the humans are scared. They have the cameras strapped to their heads so the humans can see what's going on without risking their own lives. So the animals, like the ones with guns, risk their lives, but they cannot vote.

US Plays Coy About Gulags, Shows Contempt for International Law

Europe is currently investigating allegations that the US has a network of secret prisons in Eastern Europe.

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will not confirm or deny the existance of the prisons, but defended the US practice of locking people up indefinitely in secret prisons that may or may not exist for things they could possibly do in the future.
