Dateline, an Australian news program, has aired video of US soldiers in Afghanistan burning the bodies of dead Taliban. The burning of the bodies was purported to be for hygene reasons, but Dateline also filmed a US psyops unit broadcasting taunts about the corpses:
Captain Ken Masters, the top British military police investigator working in Iraq, was found hanged at his barracks in Basra. Masters' job was to investigate abuse allegations against soliders in Iraq. Although he is married with two children and his death has been ruled a suicide, no suicide note was found.

In an effort to convince troops to re-enlist, the Pentagon offered a $15,000 bonus in January, but then in April reneged on the deal.
According to Senator Patty Murray, via the News Tribune:
The Pentagon has reneged on its offer to pay a $15,000 bonus to members of the National Guard and Army Reserve who agree to extend their enlistments by six years, according to Sen. Patty Murray (D-Seattle).
As the conclusion to the investigation into the Plame leak grows near, rumors are circulating that a senior White House official has flipped and Vice President Dick Cheney may be a target. This could explain why Cheney has been keeping a low profile as of late.
A Washington Post article entitled "Cheney's Office Is A Focus in Leak Case" states:
When terrorism increases, covert security organizations and terrorist organizations alike gain greater funding and power. Bush's infamous satellite-linked military photo op was not only rehearsed (you can listen to audio of a rehearsal of the it here), it was manufactured. At least one "soldier" in the event, a Corine Lombardo, was a military spokesperson rather than a combatant.
